Out of darkness’s lair, a wasps nest with three screaming skulls, awakening a beast made of twin rabbit mandible bones spewing a torrent of red viscera to envelop an egg of the universal truth. Out spews rotted yolk in putrid olive green & amber crystal.

The truth is tainted with spiritual corruption; a mirror held up to the creature to feast on its own reflection, but the creature is blind & cannibalizes its own orphic egg of the universe, dooming the creature to an eternity of living in darkness.

The Night is my Companion & Solitude my Guide
Taking a step towards the ecstasy of being alone in nature, no one elses thoughts, wants or daydreams. Being embraced back by the night alone is her own private golden hour, with her mask of a genuine glasswing butterfly specimen & gown of mystic topaz with swirls of hibiscus passion flower to dignify her love & self devotion. She holds her claw to the sky, eyes cast upwards to beg only for the nights bounty in the company of her own muses.

On one page, bearing a garnet heart that bursts forth despite the pain it brings. This page states
“I give in to the universe which is bigger than I am;
I surrender to the experience”.

On the other, bearing our guts and following them with no doubt or fear.
This page states
“There is strength In believing and trusting in myself 
while I navigate an unknown universe.”

This is a dichotomy that lives in each of us; will we submit to following our hearts or will we find the strength to follow our gut?

On one page, representing the indulgent desire to push away, ignore truths of the self & choose the isolating art of disassociation.

On the other, representing the inevitable need for nearness; in community, in ourselves, in our routine & daily lives that lead to the vast unknown.

This is a dichotomy that lives in each of us; will we choose to be vulnerable in all its mess or will we choose the veil & check out?
