The Bee & The Wasp tells society that sure, fine… if society is just going to call us all the same, treat us all alike, refuse to see us and erase our unique and individual stories, our experiences, our lives, as holding any value as queer people… Then together we will form an alliance.
Bees harmonize with wasps; bringing their sweet pollen pearls of wisdom to the sturdy nest the wasps have built. Living beings with vastly different stories and a completely different purpose, coming together in order to build a stronger space for themselves and their love. They are The Lovers, the duality within one another co-existing not despite, but because of one another and the balance both bring to not only survive together but thrive in that duality.
